Whether you’re staying at a Caernarfon hotel or visiting the area, there is plenty to get involved with.

Beacon Climbing Centre

Whether the sun is shining or it's raining buckets, that won’t stop the possibility of indoor climbing.  With fun activities for all the family, Beacon Climbing Centre is great for the whole family, offering fun activities you can all enjoy.  This isn't just any climbing wall, come and explore the high ropes walls with fun and colourful graphics. Never climbed before? No previous climbing experience is required so enjoy climbing for the first time here! Plus, there is a cafe on site for you to catch your breath and grab a bite to eat.

Galeri Caernarfon

Want to sit back and watch one of the latest films on screen? Visit Galeri Caernarfon to explore the latest cinema releases, great for spending quality time with family. As well as films, Galeri Caernarfon hosts theatre shows and live performances. 

Bar Bach

One of the smallest bars in Wales, visit Bar Bach to take in the local village of Caernarfon. With a variety of beers available, sit back and relax whilst watching some TV and socialise with some of the locals. As noted, this pub is rather small so may not be the best spot for a large group of people. However, there are other pubs close by that will provide a warm welcome.  

Anglesey Sea Zoo

Just a 30 minute drive from Caernarfon, take a trip to Anglesey Sea Zoo to explore the great aquarium life on site. With over 40 tanks on display, you will find a range of sea life creatures, from jellyfish to sting rays, you and the family can visit these sea critters and learn more about their history. 

Piggery Pottery

For the artists out there, why not pop into Piggery Pottery to paint your very own piggy bank, night lights or personalised plates? Art projects such as painting are very relaxing and sometimes therapeutic, so it's a great activity to get involved in. Plus, you get to take home a personal souvenir of your trip. This activity is great for young children to express their creative ideas, plus they can put them on display at home!

The Fun Centre

Another one to keep the children busy, visit The Fun Centre in Caernarfon, with over 14,000 sq ft of play space. Here you will find 25 ft drop slides, ball pools, mazes, scramble nets plus more! On-site is also an area to grab a bite to eat, great for when the children need a break from exploring the play area. At the end of your visit, why not explore the mini museum on site, great for learning some historical facts about the local area.
